Water Sample Collection Guide
TUMI Genomics’ Fungal screen diagnostic assay uses a TaqMan qPCR to detect the presence of pathogenic Pythium and Fusarium species in water samples that have been previously plated in petri dishes for 7 days.
This product allows for 01 sample of water to be tested.
Results take 2 weeks to be delivered.
The primer/probe sets target the Pythium and Fusarium genomes
The Pythium species detected in the assay are:
- P. dissotocum
- P. myriotylum
- P. ultimum
- P. alphanidermatum
The Fusarium species detected in the assay are:
- Fusarium oxysporum
- Fusarium solani
- Fusarium proliferatum
- fusarium brachygibbosum

Tube storage box, barcoded collection tubes, an instructions for use card, and a matching set of barcodes for tracking purposes.
Products will be shipped out within 36 hours of receiving the order. A product cannot be returned once the product has been shipped.
Collection tubes can be stored at room temperature for 3 months or up to a year refrigerated.
